If it's any consolation, I don't think Teh Gayz are the only folks who get stupidly preoccupied with "where they are" in life. All my brothers think the same way, and they are (quite thankfully) very straight. I know women who behave that way, too. Weirdly, most of the people I know who take the "Master Plan" approach to life come from Mississippi and are full of the Protestant Work Ethic. Catholics? Not so much. I suggest you blame John Calvin and Martin Luther for your romantic problems: find them and destroy them. Alternately, you could hop on a plan and join us for a weekend of Carnival carnality.
