Starting the new job today. Crack killed applejack (or at least the house down the skreet.)
I start the new job today. I’m going to be doing basically the same thing i was doing in New Orleans but for a smaller web hosting company. The money is basically the same for now, but there is definitely opportunity for advancement which is exciting.
Now I just need to figure out what I want to listen to during the hour long metro ride to the office. I’m thinking some Motley Crew, since they were playing Kickstart My Heart constantly at the Capitols (hockey) game last night. I forgot how much fun I had at the Brass games. Of course, it would have been more fun with the Jasons and Carlos there to help ogle cute guys and stealthily take pictures of them. Yes, I took pictures of a few - but it wasn’t quite the same without them. :/

Translation, “crackhead dropped his pipe”.

Congratulations on the new job, Vincent. But, wow, an hour commute? Two hours a day on the subway or bus? That’s rough.

It’s actually not so bad. I don’t mind the commute on the metro actually. It’s clean, safe, on time… plus, I’ve read more books already since I’ve been here than I had read the last 2 years in New Orleans. :)

Yeah, I was actually thinking how I’d like to have forced down time like that. I have so much that I’d like to read, but I never seem to find time (damned computer!).
So what are your plans once you start getting your paychecks? Will you continue to live with Alberto? Or do you think you’ll find a place of your own?

I’ll live with berto, considering it’s a nice area and it’s half the rent other people would charge me. OMG, I did misspell crue. I suck. I’ll blame it on spellcheck. Yeah.
