Senator Craig

The accusations are already flying about how this is a ‘witch hunt’ and how it’s wrong that this is getting so much attention from the ‘biased liberal media’ since they were so quick to forgive Clinton.

The big difference between this case as is with any of the recent Republican sex scandals is that these same two-faced politicians have been campaigning against Same Sex Marriage and Gay Rights for years, screaming “Family Values!” and “Gays will destroy the sanctity of marriage!” Meanwhile, when they think no one is watching, these same pillars of virtue and sanctity are visiting prostitutes and sucking cock in toilet stalls.

This is not about outing him because he’s gay. This is about outing the hypocrisy in our government. Trust me, we don’t care if they’re gay, bisexual or whatever. What matters is that they dedicate their careers to denying the LGBT community the basic rights that they have, based on the presumption that we would not live up to some standard that they can’t live up to.

Sen David Vitter votes to “protect” marriage and then pays prostitutes to have sex with him and make him wear diapers.

Sen Craig repeatedly votes to against gays rights, again to “protect” marriage, but hits on underage pages and sucking cock in toilets.

Mark Foley authors laws dismissing gay bashing and ‘championing’ child-protection while propositioning young male interns for sex.

Rep Bob Allen votes to discriminate against gays (again “protecting” marriage) while looking for a cock in park restrooms.

Jeff Ganon bashes democrats and gays alike, then works as male prostitute while sitting in the second row of White House press briefings.

Rep David Drier votes against gay right while IN a gay relationship.

This is about glass houses.

Doing Some Housecleaning

I'm a zit, get it!Not really. I’m actually going through the folders on my web server, deleting a bunch of files from sites that i no longer operate and I’m coming across some weird, random images.

Like this one of me in high school with “The Haircut” and a mouth full of food.

This logo I made based on the Volkswagen logo except using my initials. I was trying to design a logo for something, but I don’t recall what. I’ve thought about getting it as a tattoo as well, but I’m a wuss. It’s a bicycle cog, but after the fact I realized it’s a little too close to the nazi era VW logo:

Finally, this banner I made for the old nolagay.com. Pretty spiffy if I do say so myself.

Obligatory Katrina Anniversary Entry

KatrinaBeing a ‘blogger’ I know I should be moved to post a long entry about how it’s been exactly two years since the windy/floody thing, punctuated with a few witty comments illustrating how so much has changed yet everything is the still the same, but I’ll spare you.

As I sit here at my desk typing this from work, filling out the final packet of paperwork for Mental Health assistance, the last thing I want to do is reflect on the last two years. While I’ve made many new friends whom I’ll cherish, friends were also lost to drug overdoses and suicide; friends of friends have been harassed, beaten and even worse, killed.

I can however, now say that I’m one degree of separation away from a woman who was eaten by her boyfriend.

For all the supposed ‘progress’ I’ve seen in a select few individuals’ situations, things are still looking grim for New Orleans as a collective. Our leadership on the local, state and federal levels continues to fall short and it’s business as usual for the criminals on the street and in office. We used to at least function as a community despite the bullshit that surrounded us, I’m not so sure that’s still the case.

I was unmotivated but content before the storm. I’m paralyzed with indecision after.

Happy two year anniversary.
