nola.com has some incredible pictures of the Katrina’s damage. Not quite sure when I’m going to able to come home. :( Reports I hear are saying not for another week – and even then, who knows when I’ll have power or water? :( I read at entergy.com that 990,000 people are without power.
They want us to stay away for a week?!!! A WEEK???!!!!! Hanging with the in-laws in B’ham FOR A FUCKING WEEK??!!!!!!! I don’t think so! Blown out windows, flood waters and snakes makes for a much more inhabitable place than this. someone kill me. thank god for the tequila.
Now I’m hearing a MONTH. They’re letting people in to collect essentials, but then we must evacuate again for a MONTH. This is going to be devistating. I’m going to post updates and stuff that I find for the next few days.

I feel for everyone that has been affected by Katrina. I couldn’t amagine losing everything that I own, but I also could not amagine or even want to amagine losing a loved one. My heart goes out to all those people that are searching for someone. I watch every night on CNN someone else’s story of what has happen to them. I want to say I pray that everyone finds the strength to get through this disaster. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you
