Well, I’ve been home for a couple of days now, and boy am I glad to be here. :) I didn’ want to jinx the flight by talking about them, so since I’m safe I can talk about them. :) They went ok.. Pretty bumpy, freaky ride into and out of Minneapolis both times… but it was worth it to see the giant Bose vending machine where you could buy a home stereo as easy as buying a can of pop. (I said “pop!”)

On the camera front: I got a cool Argus C3 35mm and a Polaroid 250 from Dan’s friend Leslee. I can’t wait to run a roll through them and see how they work. :) Thanks Leslee!

I also took a bunhc of pictures using Dan’s father’s half frame,Olympus Pen but I’m having problems finding someone to print them. :( I think Lakeside Camera will, but I’m not sure the person on the phone understood what I meant by half frame. :)

Worland, WY

24/03/2004

I’ve spent the last two days in Worland, Wyoming with Dan’s brother, his wife Emma and their kids Eric, Logan, Dane and Sara(h?). It’s been fun… the kids are way too energetic for their own good, but I’m sure they keep things interesting. :)

Dan, Curt and I spent most of yesterday driving around the state. We saw the hot springs in Thermopolis, Wind River Canyon, lots of hills and mountains. They do exist! I’ve taken some pictures with Dan’s father’s half frame, and I really hope they come out. I’m going to try to get them developed before we leave.. I hope there’s a Wal Mart somewhere up here nearby.

Well, I wanna get back upstairs before the kids leave for school so I can say goodbye… we’re going back to Powell today so we can see the hometown and see even more people.

I’ll post more when I get the chance.

Have you seen the kitties today?

2am and I can’t sleep because my head is killing me

22/03/2004

We had a great day today, our second day in Billings, Montana. First we drove around down town for a few hours trying to find the Rimrock Mall, then we hung out some more with Dan’s parents for a while, followed by spending the rest of the evening with Dan’s super-cool cousin Noni and her equally cool husband Kent and son Kasey. :) (Shout outs to her kitty Zach!)

Tomorrow we’re driving down to Powell to see Dan’s hometown and then to Worland to stay with Dan’s brother Curt. (I hope I spelled that correctly!) Before that road trip, we’re going to get a late breakfast with Kint and make a few stops at a used camera store we passed today and at a pet store to get Kurt’s snake some food (read: mice. ick.)

By the way, the home page looks all ugly because I screwed it up before we left, which has been causing it give errors whenever you try to load it. So, in case you wern’t able to read that first post, check out the kitty cam. I miss my kitties!!! I’m f’ing exhausted, so I’m going to bed now. Good night!
