Finally. For the first time in almost 10 years I was in a darkroom lastnight. I only have one roll of b/w film, but I managed to produce two prints. This one and this one. I’m not completely happy with how they came out, but I’ll go back in tonight and re-do them. I forgot just how amazing the whole process is. Here I am in this competely black room. I flash a light onto some blank paper, dip it into a tray of liquid and blammo – an image appears. Something from nothing, just like childbirth. Well, except without all the pain, crying, drugs, blood and afterbirth.
